Golden Connections Community Center
GET TO KNOW US…
Golden Connections Community Center is a multi-service facility for older adults 60+. The Center can fulfill many social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Center activities are designed to overcome loneliness, enhance self-esteem, encourage personal growth, and to facilitate independence through involvement.
Since our founding, the goal of the Golden Connections Community Center has been to assist and empower older adults to remain part of a thriving community environment.
With the service of volunteers and our dedicated core staff, we offer a wide range of free services and programs to older adults in York County.
Activities include those that respond to social, cultural, economic, emotional, and physical needs of the older adult, thus encouraging independence, stimulating personal growth, alleviating loneliness, and providing opportunities for volunteerism.
Counseling, referral services, and provision of home delivered, and congregate meal services are also an important part of our mission.
